A new home online for the Juan Guzman Foundation

The foundation was started by former major league pitcher Juan Guzman to help children through sports, education and the arts. It needed a website that explained the work and made it easy to give.

The starting point

Where it started

The foundation's previous site was in Spanish only. Visitors who wanted to help were pointed to a list they had to download, and the programs were hard to tell apart.

The new site had three jobs: explain who the foundation is and what it does, show the work with real photos, and let someone donate without leaving the page.

What we built

01

English and Spanish

Every page is available in both languages, with a switch at the top, so supporters in the United States and families in the Dominican Republic read the same site.

02

Donations on the site

A Donate button in the main menu and a cart, so giving takes a few clicks instead of a download.

03

The work, shown in photos

A gallery of events and deliveries, from school supply giveaways to hurricane relief, each with its own page.

Ready for supporters abroadThe English version opens the foundation to donors who do not read Spanish.
